I'm excited to finally be done with the Co-Op update for my passion project DungeonFight/WorldCube, can you defeat the Skeleton Lord with your friends??
The hardest thing for me to add because its my least favorite thing to do is "saving" mechanics because they are generally boring and if they have a bug it gets tiring to figure out what the issue is.
Luckily, im finished and with minimal bugs! Still let me know if you find any i will fix them ASAP
New patch Changes:
- Multiplayer saved Co-Op is here! Play with friends and also resume your game whenever you want! Can also be played solo if you just wanted to play a saved game, and then later you could show off your world to your friends.
- [Co-Op] There are now 5 save slots you can choose from and can also reset these saves if desired.
- [Co-Op] You will now go into a "Fallen" state whenever you die and your friends can pick you up by standing in your Fallen square for 10 seconds
- [Co-Op]All Mob HP now scales in Co-Op Per Player
- Grouping damage on resources/mobs to send in bulk for less network clutter
- Buildings now have Protection levels(wood is 0, stone is 1, obsidian buildings will be 3) and tools have Tool levels(flint pick/axe is level 0, iron is 1, steel is 2, mithril is 3)
- Re: Fixed mob turning just not working (mobs would faceplant into walls) Some were still broken
- You can now pick plants multiple times until they break, starting at a 0 percent chance to break the plant going up by 3 to 5% each pick
- Changed Tools to not send sounds and visuals while mining/chopping through the network, changed picking plants/flint to client instead of network
- Buffs to XP gains from picking plants/flint
- Buffs to XP gains from chopping, also added XP gain per chop
- Mobs on death will now lose their collider hopefully preventing killing them multiple times on a lagspike
- Massively increased the HP of resources Trees/Rocks/Ores
- Mobs and Players can now be Poisoned, watch out for spiders!
- Added Poison Effect to the screen when poisoned, also fixed a bug with the rooted screen image to not show up.
- Fixed Buildings on a re-equip(having enough resources to build the next one) being able to push around players and mobs
- The Skeleton Lord now enrages at 50% hp
- Enrage: animations play at 1.5x speed and speed is increased by 8x
- Ceilings will now all disappear once you enter one ceiling
- (Bug)Fixed boats so they can actually sail in the water instead of breaking on the water
- (Bug)Fixed clients not being able to place buildings before the master client opened up their building tab
- (Bug)Fixed Furnaces(Still a bit buggy but nothing gamebreaking)
Upcoming changes to expect in the next patch:
- Obsidian buildings
- Mithril Weapons/Armor
- Overhaul on mob controller (new abilities more interesting fights)
- Buffs/Debuffs
- Magic and Spells(Tomes)
- Magic Gathering(Different from woodcutting and mining/ picking plants)
- Magic Armors
- New Boss
